Huawei has officially commenced the rollout of Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for its Honor 4X smartphone in Europe. This update is available both via OTA and as a manual download.
Update Details
This update, tagged with version number B506, is based on Huawei’s latest Emotion UI 4.0 interface and does include the latest security updates released by Google.
The update is currently being rolled out in Finland, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia with more countries expected to follow soon.
Since OTAs are rolled out in stages, it is naturally going to take some time before this update hits your device. However, Huawei has also released a full firmware package that can manually be flashed on any European Honor 4X device. It can be downloaded here.
