Huawei Honor 6X (BLN-L21) has received a new B131 firmware update in Middle Eastern and some African countries including Egypt and Pakistan. This update comes with Android security patch level of January 1.

How to Update
This firmware can only be installed on Middle Eastern devices that are already running a C185 based build.
- Download the update.zip package from above and extract it on your computer.
- Copy the extracted UPDATE.APP package to your phone’s SD card > “dload” folder.
- Take a full backup of all your existing data using the native backup app provided by Huawei.
- Turn your device off.
- Now boot by holding volume down + volume up + power keys for a few seconds to start the update process.
