Extract the RAR package using any archive utility like 7-Zip. Transfer the extracted ‘dload’ folder to the main folder of your 4C’s microSD card. After that, go to Settings > Updates > menu > Local update, tap full Update.app package and install it.

Your phone will automatically reboot into its recovery, flash the new firmware and then reboot afterwards.

Installation Procedure

This firmware can only be installed on the colombian G735-L23 with C605 build number.

1. Download “Huawei Gplay Firmware(G735-L23, Android 4.4.2…Colombia, Channel-Others).zip” from the link above and extract it.
2. Transfer the resulting ‘dload’ folder to the top directory (root) level of the phone’s external microSD card.
3. Disconnect the USB cable and open Updater app (or you can go to Settings > Updates).
4. Tap menu > Local Update. Select the full Update.app package and confirm its installation.
5. In case of any issue, you can also perform the installation by simply rebooting the device while holding Vol up + Vol down + Power simultaneously after the copying ‘dload’.

Huawei has kickstarted the rollout of B304 Android 6.0 Marshmallow to its Honor 7 (PLK-UL00) handsets in India. Strangely enough, this update can only be downloaded upon registration with Huawei. But, worry not, you can easily download the full firmware package here and flash it the traditional way.

Upgrade Instructions

This update is only intended/suitable for the Indian Honor 7 (PLK-UL00). Your device has to be running C675B160 or C675B170 in order to be able to flash this firmware. Here are the main steps to installation.

1. Download the RAR package from the above-mentioned mirror and extract it using any archive utility.
2. You’ll get a folder ‘dload’ alongside a PDF or two.
3. Copy the ‘dload’ folder to your Honor’s external microSD card.
4. Make sure the SD card is formatted in FAT32 filesystem and doesn’t contain any other dload folder.
5. Finally, unplug the USB cable and open the Updater app. Go to Menu > Local Update, select the full Update.app package and flash it.
